Project

• The Kelulut Honey Pump Set distribution program to 41 participants of the Kelulut Beekeeping Project under the Supplementary Economic Activities (AET) program in Kg. Bingkor was held on January 14, 2021.

• The distribution is an allocation channeled by LKTNS to AET participants through the AET Grant Fund obtained from the Federal Ministry of Rural Development (KPLB) under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11th Plan).

• Each set distributed is equipped with a portable Honey Suction Pump along with a bottle / gallon of honey storage as well as a hat and PPE as a safety protection for participants when harvesting honey from their kelulut farms.

• The harvesting equipment is an initiative of the LKTNS AET unit in ensuring the sustainability of the Kelulut Beekeeping project undertaken by LKTNS AET participants in addition to being able to increase the productivity of kelulut honey production as a side income for participants.

• The harvesting equipment was provided not only to AET participants in Bingkor, but also to all LKTNS participants who are engaged in honey bee farming under the AET program.
